Happy Birthday—1-0-2!!

In Sparland we were able to celebrate Dana’s dad’s birthday. He is 102 years old. He loves the White Sox and he loves to eat chicken. We were able to celebrate his birthday with family and friends coming over for a picnic. As a father he is the best! He enjoyed receiving cards, phone calls, and the party. It is kind of funny—we didn’t have chicken at the picnic but he was okay with that. Also, two other birthday’s that week as well….Miranda, our niece who is 30 and my brother’s granddaughter, Kayla who is 14.

The weekly word of wisdom— to get to 102 and to enjoy it, be like Mike—he loves baseball, fishing, family, blueberries, gardening, walks in his day, having a good sense of humor and of course eating chicken!
